As you can see from the photos, this poor little girl had 2, approximately 6-inch long rips in her side, plus tooth marks on other parts of her body. We know that those are bite wounds from something, most likely a larger dog, how it happened we don’t know. She was pulled from a shelter and taken to the vets to be looked at and placed on meds before I picked her up at the vets office. She is all ready for her trip up north having had all her shots and received her health cert and is now awaiting transport to go to a fosters in the near future. I am sure she will have scars that she will carry the rest of her life over this. I just hope that her future adoptive parents have a lot of patience and love. It’s her time to move on.
