I went to the San Bernardino shelter to pull one dog who, come to find out, had already been adopted. Well, I didn’t want to leave empty-handed. So, after talking with the rescue, we decided to pull others while I was there. But the dilemma was who to pull. First I checked the kill list to see who was most at risk and the black chi mix was literally going down in a few minutes. That was an obvious choice. Then I looked at fluffies that were similar to the one I had been originally sent for. I chose the white bichon mix, he had that look under a very matted coat. Then I saw the little terriers, they looked so sad and I didn’t want to break them up as they were kenneled together, so that made four. I pulled them and off we went to a boarding facility to get them ready for their trip up north, where I’m sure they will find furever homes in no time.
