Well on the second try I got her out of the Lancaster shelter; I loaded her up and away we went. When I approached her pen at the shelter she was so sad and didn’t want to move, she just laid there. Once I went inside to open her pen and she saw the leash, she picked up a bit. Then when started walking away we went; for a 12 year old she walked fast. As you can see from the limited picture-taking, she was ready to leave. She didn’t want to wait around one second longer than needed. Getting loaded was no problem and when we arrived at Animal Rescue Center in L.A. she came right out, met the staff, and was friendly to everyone. I dropped her off and told her I would be back in the morning for her ride up north and hopefully a chance at a better life than where she came from.
