Today I pulled and transported these five from a high kill shelter. Yes they were all on the kill list, well now they are safe. The shepherd was an absolute doll. At 85 lbs or so he just wanted to be a lap dog. Who could have given him up is beyond me. The three chihuahuas were not socialized as the demeanor was to bite first and run. I don’t blame them and in time they will find their homes. All were very scared and nervous, not unusual for the breed. Where they came from who knows, but they will find their new homes soon. The other shepherd mix just went along for the ride. Didn’t seem to take much interest in what was going on around him, just went with the flow. He too will find his home soon. At least now they have a chance at a better life. Better than the others who didn’t get out.
