Today I went to the shelter to pull a 6 lb. little ball of terror. The shelter staff absolutely could not touch this little guy without him going berserk on them. After doing the paperwork they brought him out in a cat carrier with a Plexiglas front. That’s why the photo is so blurry. He came right out of the carrier and went into the larger dog kennel and that was it for him. I got to the kennel and he was bitey and snappy; I put a towel around him and he settled down a bunch so we took him inside at that point. I wonder sometimes if his skin could be so sensitive to touch and him not used to being handled, could this cause them a certain amount of stress or even pain. I don’t really know but I see it often enough to wonder.
