These two seniors were up early for their ride to an overnight stay before boarding a transport heading north. Their overnight accommodations were just over the top. They had an enclosed patio area, then another heated room with a large dog bed plus a smaller human bed, a little lower than normal, off to one side. Well decorated and very clean. Better than motel six for most people. I was very impressed and both seniors were also. A great start for their new journey.

Today I did another fly-away at another airport. Everyone was really good as we had to wait for the plane to be fixed. Yesterday I did another one at a different airport, with the same plane. It must have gotten back ok, but it did develop a problem that had to be fixed. Once it was fixed everyone was loaded and off they went heading out on their first leg of their trip. In 5 hours it will be over and they will be out playing. Ground transport takes up to 30 hours and that is a long time. That’s why we would rather fly them than drive them. 300 to 500 dogs a week are making the exodus out of California. And there is no end in sight. Our prolific breeding program is alive and well and they just keep on coming. So sad. A never ending story.
