Today I pulled Oscar from the shelter, he had a very bad leg injury in the past and it was never treated by his past owners. So they just left it and Oscar has been in pain every since. How long that has been we don’t know. Well today was his day. Now that he is out of the shelter, he was transported right away to a very high class vet surgical group for a determination of what is actually wrong; then they will fix it, we all hope. Whatever the outcome he will be going to a rescue that specializes in rotts and knows how to take care of them properly. Better days are ahead for this boy, it’s about time.
Striker And Taz
Today I pickup these two, who couldn’t be more different. Off we went to meet their plane and they were the only two dogs on board the flight. I hadn’t seen that happen before. Usually it’s quite crowded, but not on this flight. We had to disassemble the kennels and rebuild them in the plane as they were too large to fit through the plane’s door. You do what you have to do to make it work. After they were all settled in, they were off to their new homes and I am sure a much better life than what they had before. It’s just one dog at a time, well maybe two, that we can save.
