Yep, that’s what they did, just dumped her out on a highway, out in the middle of nowhere. She is gorgeous, very well behaved and is just looking for the right home. Obviously she didn’t come from a good one. What did those people expect her to do to survive, chase rabbits? More than likely coyotes would have taken her down if a good person hadn’t come by, seen her, and called a rescue to come get her. That’s where I came in; I picked her up at a house early in the morning and off we went to one of the best rescues in Southern California. After a bath and getting all prettied up I believe she will be in a forever home within a few days.
No Chance At All
Today I pulled 4 dogs from a shelter way out in the desert that wouldn’t have a chance because nobody knew they were there. When dealing with small shelters that nobody knows anything about or even if they exist, it’s heart breaking to find how many good dogs are there just waiting for a chance at a better life. But if nobody knows, nobody can help. Well, we are trying to correct that; working with them and pulling who we can to try to give them that chance. We will keep finding them, pulling as many as we can and find the rescues that will take them and find them their forever homes, one dog at a time.
