I made a another transport Friday night to Lamoor, CA with 8 dogs from the Camarillo shelter. Since this was a “night drop”, I don’t have any pictures. I finally got home at 2 a.m. and had to be back on the road at 5 a.m. for the fly away transport, so I was rather rushed in pulling all this together. We did it and 8 more will go on the a much better life. That’s what is all about.

This little lady doesn’t have a name. I received the call that she will be put down on Friday if not rescued today. To top it off, she was sick. Who is going to take a sick puppy on at the last minute, not knowing what the possible cost might be, no firm rescue to take her too. What to do? Well the person who stepped up and said enough is enough. Her name is Maripat Davis and she has many times stuck her neck out for these little guys, and she did it again. To say thank you seems just not enough. but it’s all I can say and really mean it. And yes I transported her to Westlake Animal Hospital for the care she has never known in her short life.
