I pulled k-70 from the shelter and transported him to Bellas Sanctuary in the valley that same day. He was a big boy and was all play. He was so happy to get out and just be free. He had no name, but I am sure that won’t last. And to think that he was on the kill list a few days prior and if I hadn’t got him, he would now be dead. So sad, so much life in him. I know we can’t save them all, but to this one dog , it was important to him that he was saved. One dog at a time is all we can do.
Two Little Brownies
These little guys were highly stressed when picked up at the Ventura County Animal Shelter. Staff mentioned they were prone to biting, but when I delivered them to Irma at Last Green Mile Rescue, they had settled down and were very loving. They acclimated really fast and were lap dogs in no time. They are in good hands with Irma and I am sure they will find a loving home, hope they can go together as they are quite bonded.
