Today was a busy day moving dogs around to rescues and boarding kennels, trying to keep one step ahead of the needle. I picked up 4 dogs we had at Flying High and delivered them to Last Green Mile Rescue. Then went to the shelter and pulled 11 more. Three went the Simi holding facility to await further transport next week. Four more went to Flying High Boarding to await a rescue next week, one went to Last Green Mile Rescue and three went to Ventura Highway Luxury Boarding for Dogs out on the Avenue in Ventura. They were all such sweet little guys. So hard to imagine they would have died by Friday if we don’t move them out. Just think of the ones we didn’t save. They were just like these guys. It never ends. Didn’t have time for pics but I will tomorrow. There is tomorrow, for some…
Another Run To Baldwin Park
I made another run to Baldwin Park to meet up with Glen so 3 more lucky pitties could get a chance at a new life in Tucson with Justin at Love-A-Bull Rescue. We decided to start transporting later in the evening because of the heat. That way the dogs and I don’t have to wait 3 hours for Glen to drive in from Phoenix. Seems to work fine. Traffic was a little heavier, but all in all it’s a better deal for the dogs, and that’s what it is all about. I picked up Zoey at Bartons and he was so glad to see me. Zoey was the first pittie to climb all the way into Glen’s truck, unaided. Quite a feat. He seemed right at home in the cab. You have to wonder if he had done this before.
