On Friday I had a transport for four pitties from the Loma Linda Vet Hospital (where they were spay-neutered) to Baldwin Park to meet up with Glen and then on to Pam’s Second Chance Rescue. To say these guys were all still recuperating from their surgery on Wednesday is true, but they were in a hurry to go, somewhere. Didn’t much care where, they just wanted out of there. They are all settled in at Pam’s now and doing fine. Capone already has a potential adopter. I knew he would, he was such a cute little pittie with his very short legs. So cute.
Meet Sammy
On Wednesday I made a trip all the way up to Tracy, CA to transfer poor Sammy to Tracy (yes, same name) of Chino Boxer Rescue. I had pulled Sammy earlier in the day from the North Central Shelter in Los Angeles. While he was at the shelter he became a favorite of the staff and they just had to get him out. He was so very frighten there and was not doing well. His owner had died suddenly and he was banished to the shelter by people who didn’t want him at all. He was so scared and nervous at all the changes going on in his life. But he was very friendly and just wanted to be with someone. Well, he is very lucky that Tracy has taken him in and I believe that she already has potential adopters waiting for him. I am sure that all will be falling into place for this guy and his future is assured. A long trip, but worth it.
