These little guys are headed to Last Green Mile Rescue here in Camarillo, thanks to Maripat and Irma. This shows what can be done when we all work together. Many times in rescue we forget that it’s about the dogs, not us. Easily forgotten, but it always remembered by the dogs, as they are the ones who will suffer in the end.
Popeye Wants To Drive
Today I picked up Popeye from our Simi holding facility, and Buster from the vet hospital where he was being treated for kennel cough and is now all better. As you can see Popeye wants to go. He took to the big rig like a pro and Glen had his hands full until Popeye realized he had to ride in the passenger’s seat. Oh well, better than a crate. Buster couldn’t care less where he rode, as long as it was moving away from here. They both were very excited being in the big rig and they did settle down after a bit and were perfect passengers on their new journey that we all hope ends with a perfect forever home for these lovable guys. Bon voyage guys…
