On Thursday I drove down to the valley to pick up a pittie at Top Dog Boarding, she had been there for 4 months waiting for someone to take her home. No one ever did. Diane started to network her and finally Pam from Second Chance Rescue in Phoenix, AZ agreed to take her and work with her and get her adopted. Remember that she is only 1 year old and during that time she has spent 6 months with a very abusive foster person and then 4 months in a kennel cage. Not much of a start for this little girl. To say she is afraid and fearful would be an understatement. Do I think that with a lot of love and attention she may have a chance at a normal life? I hope so, but only time will tell with Coco. We all wish her well on her recovery.
Didn’t Even Have A Name
Today I went to Loma Linda Vet Hospital and picked up a little pittie girl that had just been pulled from the Devore shelter that morning through the very hard work of Diane (a networker) from the Northridge area. This poor girl has had no love all her life but I am sure now that she is at Arc Vet Clinic in L.A. and with Diane watching over her, she will soon get all that she could ever want. So many of these sad stories are out there, it just boggles the mind. And there is no end in sight. At least this little one now has a chance, more than some.
