I transported these two on Thursday from Simi Valley; Hershey was at the Simi holding facility and Roscoe was at a foster’s (Kim) and was brought to the holding facility by Kim. After a long goodbye and a few tears, I loaded them up for the drive to meet Glen in Baldwin Park. Since we had some time to while away before Glen showed up, I made a detour to the Handsome Dam Recreation Area to allow them some walk time before their trip to Phoenix and then on to Tucson. They really enjoyed it there. Even though I couldn’t allow them off leash they did like all the walking and marking of territories that they could. I think it was maybe a first for them to be in such a nice area. Maybe the only thing they ever knew was a back yard. Hard to say, but I do know they enjoyed it. That’s what counts.
A Little Brown Fur-Ball
This little guy is so cute and he just wanted to go, like, outta here! His name is Cocoa. His color, brown, is also unusual for a Lhasa Apso. A good grooming and he will look totally different. I transported him down to Pet Adoption Rescue in Canoga Park and there was not a peep out of him the whole way. He was so quiet and well behaved. Sometimes you just have to wonder why someone would turn in such a cute, sweet little guy. What were you thinking people? You won’t find better than this little one.
