This is Piper, she was flown to U.C. Davis medical school today so she can receive treatment for both bone issues and problems with her front legs that need to be corrected at an early age. She has her first exam today so it was very important that we make the scheduled loading time so she could be there on time. As she was the only one on the flight it was not as hectic as usual; when I got there they were still refueling the aircraft and expected to leave as soon as that was done. I will fill you in on her return trip which, as of right now, we do not know when will take place. Will keep you posted.
The First 3 Minutes At A New Foster’s Home
It doesn’t always go like this, but this time it did. Poor Jena, who just came from the vets after getting fixed and who was a little woozy from the ride to her new home, let it all go first thing in the door. The new fosters were very understanding and did all they could to get her to settle down and she did in no time. Now Eva just wanted to get a belly rub, and with that she was home. They both settled in and are doing well at their new foster’s and I hope they enjoy their time there, as it is so much better than the south L.A. shelter were I picked them up.
