I pulled three dogs from the Devore shelter today and transported two to a nearby vet hospital. The third will leave on Monday for a vet office to be fixed prior to transport elsewhere. One is going east and one is staying local I believe. The important thing is they are out and on their way to a better place. Many more to go.

Seems that lately I have been transporting cats and kittens from the shelters to various rescues. I have not been able to take pictures of them because they are in small carriers and I have not been handling them to photograph them. Today was the first dog in about 5 days and her name is Kate. I transported her from the Orange County shelter to boarding in preparation for her trip north in a few days to a wonderful rescue. I know that she will find her home in the first few days there. She is so cute and walks very confidently on a leash. How someone could give a girl like this up, is beyond me, but they do.
