This week I had 14 dogs and 5 cats to pick up from Santa Paula and transport to the clinic for the fixens. Spay-neuter is really the only answer to the overpopulation problem (besides education), it seems that each week the numbers keep getting bigger. And if that’s so then we will just keep delivering more. I can’t say enough good things about the crew at the clinic. Boy do they work hard, I wish more people could see them in action. I believe more of the public would have a better appreciation of how much they give in terms plain old hard work, and of their impact to the overall pet population problem. Well done guys.
One Year In A Shelter
It’s so hard to believe; most dogs get 10 days, at most a few weeks, but that’s it. I found out that the staff really really liked this girl, so they kept trying to get her adopted, but without much success. I transported her up north where she is going to a foster/adopt situation and we will all keep our fingers crossed for her. A year, it’s so hard to believe.
