This girl had been in the shelter for over a month. Still happy go lucky and just loves people; can’t get enough attention. I picked her up at the vets office and then we took off to boarding. As she just came out of surgery she was still a little groggy and unsure on her feet; but after moving around a bit she was starting to get her legs back. Now that she is fixed, it will be a faster adoption as she is now ready to go to a good home. After all she has been through, she deserves the best. I am sure she will find it.
6 Dogs, 3 Shelters And 1 Vet Office
It was a busy day. First I picked up the little malti-poo who was very depressed, but as we headed down the road, he slowly came out of it. Next stop was the vet clinic to pick up Wallace who had just gotten fixed and was he big; 100 lbs. and then some. That kind of ruled out him sharing a kennel with the malti-poo. Next stop was a shelter that we all dearly love where I pulled the retriever and chi mix. It went quick and the chihuahua shared the kennel with the malti-poo. They got along just fine on the trip. Next stop was another shelter that is high on everyone’s list for disliking. There I pulled a red chow-chow who was grumpy and we had to load him very carefully as he was labeled aggressive. I also pull a pittie mix for a fellow rescuer who does so much for those who are so forgotten and killed the most. If I can save any pittie I will. After all were loaded it was off to boarding in Palmdale where they will get their health certs and I believe they are all on this Saturday’s transport up north. Which means they won’t be in boarding long before going north and finding that elusive forever home that they could never find here.
