Today I went to a humane society way out in the desert communities and picked up this two year old shepherd that was just dying to go to a home. Full of energy and just wanted to go, go and go. So I did the paperwork and away we went. He was so happy to be out a second time because he had been adopted once and returned as being to much for those folks to handle. Well, he is young, never been trained; never had anyone to call his own; nobody to correct him and work with him. And does anyone wonder why he is like this? In time he will be fine. The rescue he is going to has a wonderful track record in dealing with shepherds and they can’t wait ’til he finally arrives and I bet neither can he.
Let’s Try This Again And Hope We Do Better
Today I received a call that today was Max’s last day at the Camarillo shelter and they planned to kill him before 4 p.m. Well I made a phone call and found a spot for him at a ranch with other dogs that have the same background as Max. See, I adopted Max back to his original owner a few months ago, with all their promises of properly taking care of Max. Well I was wrong because they ended up turning Max back into the shelter because he had issues. Of course he had issues after being left in the backyard to amuse himself with very little interaction with the family. Why they wanted him back after the first time is beyond me. They won’t get that chance again. Now we can only move forward and find him his forever home soon.
