As is evident in the photos, she is quite pregnant. I received a call at 5:30 p.m. to go to the shelter and transport her to a foster in the Ojai area. Knowing that she was far along we took extra care in both loading and unload her, but I guess the transport must have caused stress because 10 minutes after I dropped her off, she had her pups. All seemed fine; they all went to the vets today to be checked and everyone was healthy. I do feel fortunate that she waited as long as she did, because I hadn’t planned on them being born in the van. Great timing Lola.
