Today I pulled this little one from the shelter and to say she was not overly friendly, is somewhat true. Yes I used the towel, not because it was cold, but so I wouldn’t get bitten. She was a little snappy, but like so many others she will settle down once she has some decompression time from the shelter. Peeps don’t realize how traumatized these dogs get after only spending a short time there. This gal was on her last days, so if I didn’t get her, it was kill time. She is at a foster’s now, where things will settle down and she will get to be herself for a little while. Then sometime soon she will start her journey up north and on to her forever home.
