Pulled two of these little guys from a shelter this morning. Not mean, just frightened. You would be too if all of a sudden you come out in the daylight, then get put in another kennel, get transported for 10 miles, then back out again, then into another kennel, one right after another. Can’t get your bearings, can’t get a breath, just one new strange face after another. God, how they must feel. Soon they will go to a foster and await their turn at an adoption event. When does it end? For some quickly, they get adopted right away, others, it could be months. And we wonder why they are scared. Bert, the little fuzzy with the cone, will have no problems getting adopted, he is cute, fuzzy, fixed and loveable. Gone on the first try is my guess. The other two will take some work, a white chihuahua and a brown chihuahua are not exactly rare as coloring goes. But their rescue is a good one so they will make it too.

From The Sand To The Sea
Well close anyway. Today I pulled these four from a shelter out in the desert and transported them to a boarding kennel in Newport Beach, which is about as close to the sea as I go. All these guys (and gals) were very well behaved and I know will have no problems finding their future forever homes amongst the local beach crowd there. And who knows, maybe a movie star or two. Never know, I have delivered in the past to a few stars homes, not telling who. It’s the love found in the home that matters, not who owns it.
