Animal Transport

I picked this guy up at 6:00a.m. for transport to a kennel where he will meet up with a truck that will take him north and there he will find a home that couldn’t be found here in CA. Why is beyond me; this guy was super well-behaved, paid attention to everything that you said to him, and was quiet the whole trip out there, never a peep. Loaded and unload like he had done this many times. It’s beyond me why this dog has to travel so far looking for a home when he is such a well behaved little gent. Well it’s our loss, their gain.

Today I did the normal spay and neuter runs, but with a twist. I also picked up this big guy, whom I don’t even have his name as nobody knew. Came in as a stray at the shelter and was pulled by a rescue very quickly. He is going to a vet where he will meet a long haul transport going to Washington state, where his new home will be. After dropping off the s-n dogs and cats, then on to San Bernardino for this drop off. Long day and many dogs and cats later, it was finally over. All were where they are supposed to be and tomorrow it will start all over again.
