Today I picked these two up from a shelter rather quickly and off we went. From their expressions I gather it was a complete surprise and not what they were expecting. It never ceases to amaze me when I watch their faces and read all the expressions they have. And they have many. This duo looks bewildered to me and like they definitely don’t know what’s going on. They did settle down for the trip to boarding where they will get fixed and vetted and prepped for the journey north where rescues are waiting for them. More than what awaited them on the other side of the door at the shelter.

Careful What You Say…
…as Norman is deaf and unless he is looking at you, doesn’t realize you are talking to him. And he doesn’t hear other dogs bark, so he thinks he is the only one who sees you. He is so cute and just wants to be held and reassured you know he is there. In Norman’s case, I don’t think his lack of hearing will slow him down on being adopted quickly and I think he will find his forever home much quicker than some.
