Meet Maggie, whom some folks back away from. Why? She is so sweet and is very good with people. She just wanted to play and explore when I picked her up at the shelter. Seems not many were interested in her. But there was one rescuer who had her eye on Maggie, so when she became available for the first day, I pulled her and off to boarding she went. Friday she will head up north and then spend time in foster and then maybe her forever home soon after. She should have no problem getting adopted, especially to a dobby savvy dog person.

Abandoned, Owner Left Behind
No, we have never heard that one before. People wouldn’t do that, would they? You betcha they would and dogs and cats die every year as a result. Well this little guy lucked out; he was found in a locked house, simply left behind by people in the rush to get on with their life. Well if karma gets them for this, they aren’t going to be very happy with what’s left. Luckily this one was found in time and a rescue stepped up for him and a foster also. So this little one is on his way to places better than he was left in. For sure.
