Yes George will check you out. At this stage of our meeting George wasn’t sure if he wanted to meet me or eat me. And truth be known, neither was I. George has that look that says this can go either way. As we proceeded to load him for his ride to a kennel so he can be vetted and treated for kennel cough, get current on shots and a thorough exam, he kind of didn’t want to get in that kennel. Not knowing if he has ever even been in one before, we proceeded to ask him very nicely to please get in the nice kennel, and he did. The ride to the boarding kennel was uneventful, but when it came time to leave HIS kennel, that he didn’t want to do. But with a little TLC we managed to get him on the ground. Now we will get everything done and he can be on to a nicer and more nurturing place than he was used to before.

Diesel On The Go
I could not get him to raise his head while we were loading him. Not at all. You see Diesel has some issues and one of them is that he will bite. That’s why I was transporting him out of county so he could continue his training and learn some social skills as his previous owners never bothered to teach him. He is a big boy and when we off loaded him we had to take the kennel in the kennel area and get him out that way. Yes he was growling somewhat so just being cautious, we did it that way. Give him time to settle down and get used to his new area before any more stress is added to his already overloaded skill set. I am sure in time he will come around and be able to play well with others, just now is not that time.
