Today was spay and neuter day for these lucky boys and girls. I transported them to the Simi Valley low cost clinic for their fixins. As you can see they were all excited in going. Coming back, not so much. Hopefully, this is their first step in getting adopted. Hopefully soon.

When You Are Old, It’s Harder
Today I transported this senior lab to a rescue out in Temecula, a long ways, and for this senior it was worth it. He was found as a stray, no one even bothered looking for him. He was about to be killed by the shelter when a rescuer stepped up for him and arranged for another rescue to take him in and possibly get him adopted into a loving home in his final years. Who knows, it may be the best thing that ever happened to him. Probably better than where he came from.
