On Thursday I went up to Lake Isabella Shelter to pull a chow that the shelter staff had to use the stick to capture and put him in the kennels. He was not a happy camper. He wouldn’t let the staff clean his cage and would act very aggressive toward anyone coming into his space. Needless to say, he wasn’t making many friends there. I was asked to go pull him and transport him to boarding to await an opening for training. When I went back to his kennel he started barking, but I knew it was a frightened, not aggressive, bark. I put the slip lead on him and took him out front for shots then loaded him up. He was just very scared. With a little TLC this boy will be fine.

14 Years Old
Can you believe this gal is 14? I didn’t; she had no obvious medical issues, was very friendly, wasn’t grumpy as some of the older dogs tend to be. She acted like she was mostly outdoors during her previous life, but I believe she is leash trained. Why someone would dump this poor old lady at the shelter is beyond me. Actions like this I cannot forgive.
