Today I pulled two dogs from two different shelters. One was so very happy and bouncy and just wanted to be with someone (the Pekingese mix). The other had so many medical issues that the rescue is not sure she will make it (the Chihuahua). Was the rescue aware of these issues prior to pulling her? No they were not. These things were found out afterward when she was taken to the vet. They are now doing all that can be done and the next few days will tell. It’s tough to fix and repair a lifetime of neglect in just a few days. But as a good rescue will do, they will try. They will do all they can do and we hope the best for the little girl.

Dasivu
On Sunday I went to the Camarillo shelter and pulled this little guy because I had pulled him last year from the shelter for a rescue and they had adopted him out. Well he got loose somehow, the owners were contacted and they never picked him up. So I contacted the rescue and they weren’t going to help either. So guess what. I pulled him just before his time was up and the shelter was very near in killing him. I delivered him to another rescue who I know will stand by the poor guy and get him adopted. I know he will have better luck this time in both an adopter and rescue.
