Today I picked up this boxer from the Camarillo shelter and transported him to Roland Heights to meet up with someone who carried him down to a foster in Chino for a rescue that I work with a lot. As you can see, he was not feeling his best and was so thin. Hopefully the foster will keep him warm and dry and let him get over the bout of kennel cough that he has. A little TLC should go along way for this fella.

And Another Last Day
Today I pulled 2 cats for a rescue in Devore. I also pulled this little gal who was on her last day alive at the shelter and who happens to be 5 months pregnant. If she had died all the pups would have died with her. She was so cute and gentle. I could have held her in my lap as we drove, if mine wouldn’t have objected, which they would have. All she wanted was a chance, and now she has it. Make the most of it, it’s more than some get.
