If someone wanted to pick two dogs that were far removed from each other in size and looks these two would have to be amongst the winners. But the one thing that they did have in common is that both were very sweet and will be adopted in no time. The little yorki maltese will be the first out the door I bet; and she was on the kill list for today, so sad. How many more like here lose there lives because rescuers can’t get to them or don’t know of them. The little mommy pittie had all her pups adopted out and as usual the mom was left to die. Well not this time at least. She is going to a good rescue and will find her forever home in no time.

Our First Potty Break
A few hours earlier this fella was on death row at a shelter we shall not name. Today was to be his last day. If you can’t tell from the photos, he is a Pekingese mix and very sweet; so gentle and just wants to be held. How someone could give up this dog to the shelter to be killed is again, beyond me. Yes, he has a few health issues, can’t see well and therefore walks a little slow. He will make some senior a very happy person if maybe they can come together somewhere. He is about 8 years old, and has much more love and time to share with some kind person that I know will be out there waiting for him, somewhere.
