Poor Paul; after we pulled him from the shelter and got him to a wonderful boarding facility, he had so many flees and ticks, it was right into the bath tub. No one knew how he was going to react to this and it could have gone south real quick, but it didn’t. Paul took his bath, got flea and tick treated and was the hero of the day. Yes, a lot of folks were holding there breath just waiting to see how he was going to react. That’s because it took two of us with a catch pole to get him in a kennel; no biting or growling just stubborn and did not want to go in the kennel. He weighs a good hundred lbs or so, so being careful is what we were. But all is well and Paul is clean, maybe first time in a long time.
