But that also included 1 cat and 4 kittens. They need homes too. The German Shepard pictured below was so emaciated that they couldn’t fix him. The vet didn’t want to take the risk until he put more weight on. The English Spaniel was a 12 year old turned in to the shelter by the previous owner. How do people do that? I don’t know and probably don’t want to. I do know he couldn’t see well and had other health issues. He was very frightened and really stressed out. I hope that in the time he has left that he makes bunches of new friends and comes to realize that some people really do love old dogs.
