Animal Transport

While we stopped documenting the stories of our transports in 2016, we continue to work directly with rescue organizations in getting animals out of high-kill shelters.

Not Liking The Cone

November 1, 2012 by Animal Resources

Ben had to wear the cone during transport as he was just fixed on the 31st. And he didn’t like that one bit. For being a tiny boxer (only 33 lbs) he sure can move around, but the cone prevents him from smelling everything and that’s what he didn’t like. Bumping into things and not wanting to go where he was needed resulted in him being carried into the vet office. He will only have to wear it for a few days then things will be back to normal, for some.

Today Was Spay-Neuter Shuttle Day

October 31, 2012 by Animal Resources

Today I took 10 dogs and 11 cats over to the spay-neuter clinic and one of the lucky winners was the chow I transported from a northern shelter last week. The crew at the clinic went the extra mile and brushed him out to the tune of filling a trash can full of hair. It was a lot of brushing and he really needed it. Look at the photos and I am sure you can see the difference. I know he feels so much better too. Thanks guys from all of us.
