I know, very original, but they weren’t the pick of the litter by any means. They abandoned Girl at the vet’s office. Seems Girl needed surgery and they weren’t going to pay for it, so they told the vet to put her down, the vet refused, so they left her there. The vet went ahead and did all the medical, free, then looked around for a rescue to take her. A rescue friend called me about her and I said we would take her. And that is the beginning of her journey through rescue. We will see in the near future how it will play out, but I am quite sure it will be better than her past.
Meet Chanel
Nice name for a dog the shelter was bound and determined to put down. They had her listed as very aggressive, but she wasn’t really. She just didn’t like the folks that were messin’ with her. Once we got her to the kennel she settled right down. Like any Rott, if they don’t respect who is trying to handle them, they will let you know. The growl can be worse than the bite, most times.
