Yes she appears very frightened and not sure what is going on, but still was well behaved and loaded easily. As unsure as she was, she was not bitey and could be easily handled. Better than some I have dealt with in the past. But I think that speaks well for the breed. One thing we were carefull of though was to make sure she was well leashed because if she got loose, there would be no catching her for a while. But all went well when I dropped her off with her new foster mom and I hope in a few days she settles down and realizes thing are starting to improve in her life. Time will tell. Just a lot of TLC needed.
The Queen
Strange how things come together. Out of the blue I received an email request to pull this older Rottweiler from a very high kill shelter and her name was Queen. I just happened to be reading about the queen of England’s upcoming birthday. I couldn’t say no then when I connected these far removed dots. So today she was pulled and transported to a boarding kennel to await her many upcoming vet visits as she is in very bad shape physically. We will do all we can to get her well then find a foster where she can spend her finally days in a whole lot better place than where she came from.
