Today was a rather fast turnaround for these two pairs. Once out of the shelter, they were loaded in another transport vehicle for a trip to the vets to get current on their shots. Then they went to boarding to await their transport up north. No time to sight see for these guys, we were just trying to get everything done to make the next transport. Once they are at the rescue they will be closer to finding their forever homes. People don’t realize all that goes into getting everyone ready to go and on their way. Lots of work by many dedicated folks, all working with one goal in mind: finding homes for these guys while keeping them safe.
Close, But Not The Same Dog
Meet Clifford and Heidi, both chow mixes, both from the same shelter, but have never met before being saved and transported today by the same rescue. And yes, they have a weak spot for chows and chow mixes. Clifford was a little grumpy in loading, unloading and being placed in his new kennel while he awaits transport up north. Heidi was easy going and there were no issues with her. Goes to show it’s about the personality, not the breed, as many try to label others dogs.
