Today I picked up these three on their last day – aren’t they all – and you couldn’t fined 3 more different dogs if you looked all day. One was just a love bug; one was kind of nice, but didn’t trust you; and the 3rd one was so stressed and frightened, he couldn’t move. Being all terriers, but oh so different. I pulled them then delivered them to a vet office to get all their vet stuff done. In a few days they will be heading up north to a well respected rescue and then in short order on to a forever home. Something these little guys have never had, I am sure.
The Big Day Has Finally Arrived
Don’t know if anyone remembers Max. A little over a year ago I pulled him from a shelter for the second time as his owner I had adopted him to abruptly dumped him back there after 3 months of sharing her life with him. I pulled him and sent him to the ranch where he has been since then. There he ran with the pack and was quite happy to have so many K-9 friends. But it wasn’t permanent and one day a lady up in Canada saw him, and after being ckecked out by a local rescue, we made arrangements for Max to make the journey to the far north. Well today was the first leg in that journey and it will be Tuesday before it’s complete. I know for Max he will miss his K-9 buddies (see photo saying goodbye) but where he is going, a 160 acre ranch, there are other large dogs so he will make new friends again in short order. He will be an inside/outside dog so he will feel part of a family, coming and going as he pleases. He will have the best of both worlds I am sure. If anyone deserves at least a chance in life, Max is it. All I can do now is hope for the best for him and I know I will be getting updates from his new mom. Love and miss you Max.
