How someone can possibly give up this little butterball to the shelter is beyond me. She is so cute and very personable, just wants to be held by someone. Yes she is a tad (alot maybe) overweight, but not as bad as some I have seen. And most dogs coming out of the shelter are very underweight, for a variety of reasons. It is nice to see one that’s plump and so adorable.
Things Did Look Up For These Lucky Guys And Gals
Today I went to the shelter just to see if the shep/sharpie mix could get pulled as he was labeled aggressive and was rescue only pull. Well I found out that he likes pepperoni sticks and after following a trail of them, he did come around to me not showing any aggression at all. I then pulled him and let the rescue know he was fine; he just needed to decompress for a little while, which he did at the vets office. He is on his way now. I called a rescue to see if they wanted these two little chi that fit what they would normally get. Yep, sure they wanted them, so loaded them up and off to the vets we went. I will be seeing these little ones again on Tuesday for their flight up north. It seems it never ends.
