Tuesdays have become my fly day to take dogs to L.A.X for their fights up north. It is so much easier on them to fly for a few hours then be done with it than drive for 25 hours in the heat or cold. Yep, that’s the way to go. This lucky band of brothers and sisters is heading up to a great rescue that I talked to after they arrived; they are at their foster and already settled in for the night. They took the trip really well and we were met at the airport by the rescue, no waiting around. Then off to their fosters home. Well planned, well executed. Wish all went this smoothly.
All Dressed Up And Nowhere To Go
Today I went to Orange County and pulled this little gal for a rescue that already had a home waiting for her up along the coast. When I got to the shelter she was just waiting for anyone to pay attention to her. Why she was passed by so many people this weekend, I don’t understand. She is sweet, adorable, already fixed, mostly young, so why not her? It’s all about chemistry. It’s there or it’s not. I am sure that she will be quite happy where she is going, wish others were as fortunate.
