This little guy was supposed to be one of 4 dogs going to Camp Bow Wow for a few days then on to New Hopes Rescue storefront to get them more exposed for adoptions. Since they get a lot of foot traffic, their chances of adoptions go up considerably. Well little Spark, his name, was the only one ready to go. The others will follow when they are ready, but that will give Spark an edge maybe, as he will be already be used to his new surroundings and the wonderful volunteers that will work to get him his new home. Today I went to Devore and pulled 7 chi and they brought them out in a bite cart; it was only so they could do it all in one trip, instead of back and forth 7 times. After we loaded, it was off to the general vet for these guys. They needed to be fixed soon as they will be going north in only a few days; so not much time to get them vetted and prepped for their trip. I know they will find a better life at the other end of the trip. They always do.
