Today I pulled four from a shelter for a rescue and all were labeled aggressive by the shelter. I handled them all and they were fine. Scared, frightened, not knowing what was going on, all the usual concerns. They loaded fine, were more than a little curious as to their new surroundings and just sniffed their little hearts out. Of course I got good pics of their noses, which means that I was either very focused on what I was doing or I just took dumb pics. I think it was the latter as it is very difficult for me to take good pics and handle the dogs at the same time. Just can’t do everything well.
And Then We Were Gone
Today I went to a shelter, and they were prepared for me. I had sent in the list early and they had promised me they would have the paperwork ready and we would be out the door in only a few minutes. Guess what? They did it. When the doors opened they had everything done and in only a few minutes we were loading; as you can tell the only question was “are we there yet?” Eight very happy little and not so little dogs were on there way to starting a new adventure and a better life.
