Today I went to a humane society way out in the desert communities and picked up this two year old shepherd that was just dying to go to a home. Full of energy and just wanted to go, go and go. So I did the paperwork and away we went. He was so happy to be out a second time because he had been adopted once and returned as being to much for those folks to handle. Well, he is young, never been trained; never had anyone to call his own; nobody to correct him and work with him. And does anyone wonder why he is like this? In time he will be fine. The rescue he is going to has a wonderful track record in dealing with shepherds and they can’t wait ’til he finally arrives and I bet neither can he.
The Ten From Selma
Yesterday I went up to the city of Selma, CA and picked up 10 ten little ones that were on their last day there. You can see photos of 5 of them, but the photos for the others didn’t come out. They were cute little dockie mixes, but had a case of ring worm so we had to keep them isolated from the others. The rescue taking them will ensure a complete recovery and they will be has good as new in no time. Every rescue is important to the dog being rescued and these are no different, it was important to them, and the only chance they had. Enough said.
