Today I picked up these two yellow labs named Daisy and Ruby from a shelter. They look so much alike, but they are quite different once you get to know them. Daisy, photo on the left, worries a lot and just wants to be near you. Ruby, who is 8 years young, just goes with the flow. Both are great dogs and I know will find a lab person who is just waiting for one of these sweethearts. Their time will come very soon.
He Almost Didn’t Make It Out
Monday I was scheduled to pick up Patches at a shelter and transport him to a Los Angeles vet office. Well another rescue stepped in and said we will take him and pull him on Monday. Ok, that’s between the rescues, and I was informed that this was all set to go and I left it at that, but told the shelter, call me if things don’t as planned. I never heard from anyone and Tuesday I was at the shelter pulling another pittie and was informed that Patches was never pulled by the rescue. He was just left to die and no one would have been the wiser. Well as soon as I heard he was still there, I put a hold on him and notified the rescue that originally wanted him and we made plans for him to be pulled on Thursday. Today is Thursday and Patches has been pulled. He is now at a vet office scheduled to be fixed tomorrow and plans have been made for him to go to a rescue up north. Close call, but he is safe, finally.
