Today I went to the shelter to get four, and only pulled one. This little girl was so wanting to be held, she cried all the way to the vet’s office. If I could I would have held her, but my dogs being the friendly guys they are, there was no way that was going to happen. Luckily it was a short ride, and in no time she was there and inside with the the staff. And they were very good to her. I wouldn’t surprise me if one of them adopted her. Stranger things have happened.
And Where To Now
Today I went to a shelter and pulled these four for a rescue and I thought they would bring them out one by one. Nope, all came out together in the cage cart. As you can tell, the terrier was fine with it; the Pomeranian was a little frightened by it; the one chihuahua, couldn’t see anyway; and the last was very upset by the whole new mode of travel. I got them all out and into their separate kennels and they were fine after that, but it did freak them out somewhat at the beginning. After loading it was off to an overnight stop, then on to a boarding kennel for vetting and waiting for a transport to pick them up for their long trip up north. But for these guys, at least it has begun, for some who wait, their day never comes.
