And again today, three more were pulled from a shelter just before their kill date. As always, a rescue stepped up for these three; while knowing the huge cost it will entail as one has a badly deformed leg. Just one dog at a time, day after day. They keep coming and day after day the rescues keep stepping up to save their lives. There is no end to the dogs suffering and I hope no end to the rescues willingness to keep stepping up and saving lives. It’s one dog at a time, one rescue for each.
The Kitty
This morning it was up at 4:00 a.m. sharp so I could get my stuff done and be on the road to be in Studio City at 7:00 a.m. to pick up this kitty for transport as the foster had to leave for work also. It was a short meet and greet, grab the kitty and we were back on the road, heading north this time. Next stop, Santa Barbra area. This little gray tabby has no idea in this world how lucky she is. But as a sweet kitty she is all prepared for her new home, where she will make herself right at home as all kitties will do. She was delivered safe and sound, and not a care in the world. Such are cats.
