Today I picked up these two from a shelter and off we went to the vets. Were they glad to be leaving. The boy, George, was a little dog aggressive and when we got there he had to be brought in first so as not to have any issues with the younger female. She, on the other hand, just wanted to be out of the shelter and movin’ on to somewhere. She was a sweetheart and will make a wonderful addition to a family. George might need a little more training and then he will be ok. It will just take time.
It’s Bonnie And Clyde
Yep, in person, in the flesh. These two are so lucky to still be with us. They had the very good fortune of having been found by 2 wonderful adopters and had a lot of help from a well known and respected chow rescue. The look on these two faces when they were off-loaded in lush green yards, and lots of other green stuff around, when all they have ever seen is the desert sands, was incredible. They really didn’t know where they were. They were just overwhelmed. But as most do, they will settle in and in no time the desert and all those memories will fade, and then be forgotten in time. I hope so, they deserve a chance.
