No, I didn’t transport this mare, but I did pull her from a shelter that had too many and no one wanted her. To skinny, too old, and too whatever. The usual story we hear in rescue. So when I was contacted about pulling her, I said fine, where is she going, she sure won’t fit in my back yard. We found a great rescue person to place her with, where she will get all the proper vet care and maintenance that she is so lacking at the moment. She may not have a lot of years left, but I can guarantee they will be better than what’s gone before.
Meet Bella
This girl had been in the shelter for over a month. Still happy go lucky and just loves people; can’t get enough attention. I picked her up at the vets office and then we took off to boarding. As she just came out of surgery she was still a little groggy and unsure on her feet; but after moving around a bit she was starting to get her legs back. Now that she is fixed, it will be a faster adoption as she is now ready to go to a good home. After all she has been through, she deserves the best. I am sure she will find it.
