Both of these wonderful pitties were scheduled for the usual ground transport route to Tucson, AZ today. Then a last minute opportunity came up for them to fly there in 3 hours versus the normal 2-day long haul. Well that was a no brainer. We found extra crates and I picked them up early in the morning. They arrived at the Camarillo airport on time and waiting to start the next leg of their journey. They will be in good hands once on the ground in Tucson with Justin and his crew. Then they will go directly to a foster home which will be a big step up for them since they have been in boarding for the past month. One step at a time.
On A Medical Flight
This is Piper, she was flown to U.C. Davis medical school today so she can receive treatment for both bone issues and problems with her front legs that need to be corrected at an early age. She has her first exam today so it was very important that we make the scheduled loading time so she could be there on time. As she was the only one on the flight it was not as hectic as usual; when I got there they were still refueling the aircraft and expected to leave as soon as that was done. I will fill you in on her return trip which, as of right now, we do not know when will take place. Will keep you posted.
